I know I'll have to lay her off for awhile, but I figure for the right horse, I can wait! She will be here over winter, then I will send her back in March, she is due in April. She will come back after weaning. She does not cross well for them, but they are still able to get $2000 out of her weanlings. But if they put her on a different stud, they can get $5k, but that is an outside stud, so they want her gone. They have offered me to buy her at the set price now, and pay an extra $1000 in 6 months to keep the baby. It is very tempting, but I have to stick to my guns on my price I can pay. Darn husbands anyway
