I'm here just pissed that my barn flooded. I had just gotten the roof fixed.
I do not want rain for at least a year. We have such a surplus and the ground is so full that we could go a year without needing any.

Wink Too Much!!!

We got hit hard here too. October with this much rain is off the charts. No fall hay cuttings for some and soybeans are lost along with other crops. I worry about my horses in all this mud yet all are doing well. I have a seasonal creek through my property, not seasonal this year, and property backs into Fall Creek. I just go outside and can hear both running and roaring. I sometimes call my place "A River Runs Through It" I certainly hope this is not an example of our winter. Now today it is cold here. Take care everyone and get you hip boots out.

Today is our 15th day without rain. That must be a 2009 record as we had a wet summer too.
I'm just sorry to say rain is in the forecast for Monday.
Heck it was just beginning to dry up, we still have some muddy places even after the 15 dry days.

Same her cinch. Managed to get a couple of hay fields done this week by going around wet areas but our really good field can't be done as it is wet and there is no way that it will dry out before next year but that is why it makes the best hay when you can get in it.
I hope we don't get much rain as it is just now drying out. I have got to try to get some mowing done at the barn today before it rains on it again. Should be the last time I have to mow it.
