Cool Appy Markings

My appaloosa stud was born solid bay with exception of snip that looks like a twister, a star, and 1 hind sock. His dam Koko Lances Nugget reg as a bay roan who is mostly white and his sire Trigger (unreg appy) was a weird brown color with snowflake pattern all over.
I never thought my Twister would roan out but he is 4yrs old now and actually has a better noticeable white patch of hair by his withers.
Will he get more white as he gets older?
He did not start getting white hairs on him until last year when shedding out for spring.
I do know it will cost me $75 to get him dna tested but how much more will it cost me to get him registered as a purebred appaloosa bay roan?

Your horse sounds EXACTALLY like my appy mare. She was born a solid bay with 1 sock and a tiny star.
When she turned 2 she started to roan and every year she gets more and more white! She is now 5 (this firday!) and i cant wait to see what she sheds out to this year!
I am not sure how much it will cost to get him registered I am not able to get my girl registered, well i can as a hardship case (her mom was not reg and her daddy is a Canadian reg app) but I am not willing to put my mare thru getting spayed just to have a piece of paper!
