Wink Almost lost one.

Almost lost a sorrel paint last weekend. Went to feed and she was breathing so hard she wouldn't eat. Immediately called the vet and luckily, he was there in a heartbeat. I cannot tell you how much stuff he gave her and he thought she was going to drop dead on the spot. He called it enphezema (heaves). A few days of meds she is now fine like nothing happened. She was suppose to be bred and foal next month so also had him check her for that. In the beginning she seemed to get big so fast then poof all over. Thinkin' she was carrying twins and aborted. We are just glad she is okay. Just one now to foal soon. Everybody have a great weekend.
