We went riding and then let the grandkids ride.

Me and hubby.
I am on Atlas, 24 year old AQHA, and hubby is on Maxx, Maxx'smom's gelding.

They had such fun. When we were done, the horses got a cooling bath.

I am sorry I was so late. Having the grands here, keeps me hoping.

Max and Atlas both were awesome.

Even with age, he is still handsome.
Her and Atlas would make awesome babies.

Wow, both boys look great! It's been too hot down here to ride unless it's late in the evening, then we have to contend with those pesky T storms everyday. I'm going to start riding again in September so my guy is fit for our weekend trail ride.

We try to ride early morning so its not to hot as its training here most of the time in the afternoon.

Heck I need to ride to ge myself in shape.

Well the grandkids left today. They took one more spin on Atlas.
Its been a great week with them and already miss having them around, but thankful for some quiet.
