Gee Whiz, jb. It's like someone threw a grenade in the middle of all your plans. You know you have no control in this situation, so you are doing well by focusing on Jazz and 4-H & your life. Keep on pushin. It's sad about the foreclosure. It' happening all over. Maybe your parents can talk to the bank about contining to stay there and pay the rent to the bank. The bank will probably have a hard time selling it. This would give your parents plenty of time to find another place where can keep horses.

Once it is foreclosed, maybe your parents can buy the part where yall are liveing. Won't hurt for them to check with the bank on buying or leasing it from them.
Just hang in there and pray about it. It will all work out. Will remember you in prayers that it will all work out.

Well, if its worth the money involved, call the bank and ask about taking over the payments !! It would help the bank and help your family that is being foreclosed on as well as giving you a place to call your own !! Many times they will even lower the payments !! You would just have to pay all the back payments ( which can be done over time) then they can transfer it into your name and draw up a payment agreement !! It would be worth checking into !! That is, if you like it there !!

Lightbulb ohh maybe ....

Thank you all, I really really appreciate it. You have no idea how much it means.
grenade is the word.

I've gotten so frustrated over this - it's the second time this crap has happened - the first time we had to bail them out. And we did it just to keep our house.

I've been focusing on Razz - just feeding him. I haven't felt up to riding. I got an e-mail today from a woman off of horsetopia. I forgot to take Razz's ad down [ facedesk ] and she said she'd show her husband the pictures. I told her that I hadn't been actively looking for a home for him. BUT if the house payment doesn't get paid I'm going to have to find him a new home - it's either that or have him put down and I'd rather have the first. I'd rather not have him needlessly be put down unless someone doesn't want him. My neighbor - they'd have an extra stall if they got rid of their little Paso Fino [ Micah aka Devil Horse ] and I may ask them to see if we'd be able to set up a temporary stall there. I know they'd let me board if they had the stall - they've said I could before but the thing is - their pastures are crazy hilly. But if it means keeping him - I will ask. I need to cover all of my bases. And have back-up plans.

I haven't been up to doing much. I've barely wanted to go outside the house, it was really really nice out today and I walked out and said, "Today would be good day for a ride," it wasn't too hot nor was it too cold. But I just sighed and walked back into the house. I jokingly told Dad the other day that I wanted to show Breyers.
He goes, "Breyers?"
Me, "Yeah, you know the Model Horses?"
He says, "Yeah, okay, it's cheaper. No upkeep, no feed, no vet, farrier, shots, wormer. Sounds good to me."
I just laughed and shook my head. And I think to myself - Hey, maybe that would be a good idea. But ... I need a FFA project - it'll have to be either the Rabbit or the Horse. Hopefully I get to keep Razz and hopefully we're able to find land to rent. Mom has a friend that was going to rent us the land / trailer, but it's only a single wide. Two bedroom and I was like - MOM! It's big enough! She said it wasn't so IDK. ><

* SIGH *

** mean while this trailer isn't worth crap - there's a lot of things wrong with it **

Wink

One things's for sure - I'm not going to give up looking for horses. I'm going to ask our neighbor about possibly boarding there if we build ourselves a stall. ;]

We'll see - things will turn out eventually.
