need help finding a horse!

Hi, my name is Samantha and I consider myself a novice rider because i ride on and off over the years. I have a mare of my own that is just too fast and too much horse for me. I've been trying to sell her for a while now and I have a little boy that is interested in her. BUT!!!! I dont' know what to do, I can't seem to find a good trail horse for a very low price. And this boy really wants my mare. She's up for 500 because that's what she is worth right now, but the boy can only pay 400-450. And I can't find just a good trail horse to ride. That's all i want. And I can't sell him my mare until i have a horse on back up because i really want a horse to ride while i'm looking for a better one. someone help me!!! I really want to trade but I don't want to disappoint this boy because he is really wanting my mare. What should i do!

Sale. If you have a buyer for your mare, go ahead and sale her. Put that money back not to be touched and as you can try to add more money to it. The right horse will come along but it will be easier to buy one than try to trade for one. When you do find one like you are wanting it will be easier to get with cold hard cash than a trade.
Sale your mare and just hang in there. You will find what you are looking for.

Where are you located !! Lady that started this thread is looking for a trail horse !! Got anything that qualifies ???

i'm located in South Mississippi, i just need a good bombproof trail horse to ride with my buddies and on trails back in our woods where hunters hunt and shoot their guns. I also have little cousins that want to learn to ride and right now i woud not put them on the back of my mare because they have less exprinece in riding that i do.

yeah i've been looking there but my mother says she isn't going to get a horse from tennesse but she also said we aren't getting one from alabama and i caught her looking there today lol
