UPDATE: Break through! Yesterday I was out in the field checking the fence line and I saw my mare spook and run out of her stall. And I said, "What the heck?" So I went up there and a chicken had spooked her. XD I laughed so hard. When I walked back out and look and she had her neck streched out smelling something. I said, "Magic what in davy jones locket are you doing?" When I walked around she was smelling one of the bags! Until the wind blew and she spun around prancing off holding her little tail up in the air! and she did that blowing out thing all horses do after getting excited or spooked. I was so excited!

Thats good !! The more she is exposed to spooky things the quicker she will get used to them !! Just do not remove anything because it spooks her !! Let her get used to everything possible including the saddle and pad !! Spend an hour or two just throwing it on and pulling it off till she is comfortable with it !! !!

Today was funny. She was standing near the fence line where a bag was and the wind blew it toward her and she jumped and kicked at it then pranced off down the hill her tail up in the air like she did something lol

UPDATE: Well she's not scared of the bags, only if you get them close to her, I have a video of how she reacts to them shaking and blowing and in the video you can see me get closer. But I havent' put it up on youtube yet. But she's getting better. Until my grandfather came by on the tracker and she said oh snap! and almost took me down the hill again DX.

Decided to ride Magic today...and here something funny but also smart. I haven't been in a good mood today and I went to tighten the girth strap and I pulled it and went to bucket (mind you i can see her feet i'm looking down) and i saw her pick up her hoof and slam it down on my foot! I gasped and popped her with that lead rope and said "get the hell off my foot!" Right then the lifted that hoof up and moved it. I then turn her head where she could see me better and looked her in the eye and said, "Now you be still..." I was ticked now. But she stood there, I dropped the lead rope finished getting the saddle on and put that bridle in her mouth without a problem. She even stood still to let me on. I kinda find it funny now and I feel bad for yelling at her like that
. But now she's happy because after the ride i soaked her down with the water hose and put her in her shed with feed to dry off.
