Smile Hi from NW Arkansas

Hi I'm Katie from NW Arkansas. We don't have a horse as of yet but are looking for one.
We have a little Beagle girl that we adopted from a Beagle rescue almost 4 yrs ago. Her name is Zoey and she is our "little girl", a real sweetheart and very friendly.
About 2 months later our twin grandbabies moved in with us and have been with us ever since. They are now 5 yrs old. and keep us busy!
Look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Joseph, we have 5 grandchildren too, with #6 due in November. They are all precious to us
We're so excited about getting a horse! I would love to adopt one, but haven't found any nearby yet.

Hi there and welcome from NE Texas !! Gosh we have someone else trom our tri-state area !! Glad you joined !! If you are looking to adopt a horse check out craigslist for your area !! Many of the rescues advertise there !! Just be careful about getting any horse from a rescue !! Many have issues that that only experienced horse people should deal with !! I would suggest finding someone that deals with more family safe horses for a newbie !!

Hi Marty, we have been checking Craigs List and Petfinder.com too. There were a couple on Craigslist but they went pretty quickly. We're taking our time to find just the right one for our family. It took us about 6 mos to find the right dog.

Welcome from southwest Arkansas. I am about as far south in AR as you can get. We live only a few miles from the Louisiana line. We raise paints, quarters and paint/quarters. We run a training facality here and give lots of beginner riding lessons. We have I think 13 horses right now and take care of 10 for the people that we lease our facalities from.
We just moved a couple of our retired horses back into the barn today since the weather keeps changing. One is 26 and has bed arthritis and the least bit of cool weather gets to him. The other is one that any quick weather change makes him colic.
