my friend is starting to think i'm lying about this girl in strong/eldarado arkansas. I said it has to be the same girl, she keeps using the same names just mixing them up.

Yeah I called her cause i didn't realize it was her and have several extra saddles and looking for a smaller horse for the girls. When I realized who she was and emailed her and asked for coggins in her name, how long she had him, proof of how long she had him. She was wanting to trade for my saddle til I think she realized I caught on to who she was. Told her I wouldn't be willing to drive that far without knowing all the details first, I got back a short "I don't have a trailer" email. I know I'm not the smartest when it comes to animals. I mean I love them and take care of them, but when it comes up that I have to sell one....I'm never going to take a check or money order, cashiers check etc. I guess that's because mine arent very pricey so they always have cash. I don't understand how she can still be doing this if they keep arresting her for it and she just bonds out. I'm glad I had just seen Theresa Sturgeons warning about 5 minutes before calling this lady and knew at once to stay far away.

well yall she's done got her another new name tina thompson. i made a different email address and sent this new lady from el dorado a email asking about add number 225412 on here a paint gelding from tina thompson .well she emailed me back and guess what tania matte. even has a new ranch name flying willow paints.

Well, this woman sounds determined.
So-is there a way to post an ad with the womans photo on it? 'Wanted' the woman who has/is selling/sold such and such horse[s]..... I need to converse with her. Aliases of this woman are: name the names.....Let the public know it is imperative to the horses health that this woman be identified so that she may be contacted. Last known area of residence......
If anyone who has dealt with her can do a simular ad-than the public would get the hint.
You folks might want to collaborate on this to expose her.
The good thing is that you would not be 'slandering' her-you just want to find her and ask questions about a horse.
The ad should be vague, except for where she may live and the names she has used. This will expose her.
If you cannot use a photo of her-use a photo of the horse[s] she is selling. Nothing illegal about trying to find someone to ask a question about a horse she may have owned or sold. Maybe you need to know if the horse is allergic to bees or something.

I had been exchanging emails with Tania Matte about trading my Paint for her Peruvian. Everything seemed fine, I even spoke with her on the phone one day. So, when I arrived at her house with my paint in the trailer.... she says she isn't Tania Matte and doesn't even know a Tania!!!! She tried to tell me her name was Lori. It was clearly her place! The two stalled red shed in the background of my pictures was there (which I got a picture of while I was pissed off in my truck), the horse was there, a donkey that she had told me about over the phone, even her dog!!! She flat out said that she was not Tania.
This happened to me this morning (11/15/09.)
Here is all here info. Even her address. Her cell phone is a Sylva, NC number. This is her real address. Trust me, I wasted my gas and time to see it. There is a pond out front and geese. A neighbor,whom we had gotten further directions from, said she'd only lived there about a year.
I am now SO glad that nothing came of it... to think, where would my sweet paint would have ended up. :(
Im not sure if the palomino is a peruvian or a paso fino. The ad said paso fino, but then when I talked to her on the phone and mentioned that I had a bay peruvian, she quickly said her "paso fino" was DNA tested and 100% peruvian. I asked her a million questions about her and that horse. She always gave a to-good-to-be-true answer. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY GUT. ....but at least now, Im only out of gas money.

I have attached the picture I took of her house and barn this morning. Beware.
And I would like to clarify that the trade was NOT made. But, the horse I was supposed to be trading was in her barn. Pictures of the peruvian, "Reno"/"Dakota", are attached. Notice the red stalls and her dog.

Random Facts she told me or that I noticed:
-She did not have a trailer. And didn't have time to ask to borrow one one day because her husband had to go to the hospital. (Never said why.)
-She owned a young quarter horse and a donkey.
-That the peruvian she was selling walked to fast for her QH and that when her and her husband rode, he was too far behind.
-Claimed to shoe her own horses. She said she learned it from her uncle.
-She didn't answer the phone then sent me an email claiming she dropped it in the lake while fishing.

We should all write the lady that blogs FUGLY HORSE OF THE DAY. She has tons of followers/readers!!! That will get this lady's craziness wayyyyy more known to the public! Fugly Horse of the Day

What was the point in her making you drive all the way out to her place and then say she didn't know anything? That doesn't make any sense. What is wrong with her? I'm glad I haven't had any dealings with her. Maybe you shouldn't deal with a lot of people in Arkansas. Most of them seem to be cronies. I mean I can make a list of all the bad people in AR. Now, granted, there are some good ones, but not many. I think I will keep all my horse activities in Louisiana.
