Default Must Read! Government HealthCare

Just found out that in one of the proposed Healthcare Bills, that we will have to PRE-pay into the 'HealthCare' system for 3 years-NO BENEFITS/HEALTHCARE during this time.

At the same time this damned Cap and Trade could go through, which will raise our energy costs a MINIMUM of 40%.....

The Government is out to break us! They do not want us to have a voice or a choice.

We need to write our State Legislatures and demand a stop to these Bills!

WAKE UP PEOPLE!

WRITE IN AND BE HEARD!

I believe it was the show on October 9th or 10th. At least close to those dates.

Hell don't these stupid idiots know that if we could afford health insurance, then we would have it already. Guess we will all be in jail together.
But hey when we go to jail, then we can get health care at no cost. Inmates have it way better when it comes to medical, dental, etc. Just complain about something and they will take you to the Dr. or Dentist and then the tax payers pay for it.

I worked under Huckabee for many years. I thought I would never say this but we'd be better off if he was President.
Odamna is doing just what he intended, to destroy the US.

Exclamation I want the same healthcare plan as the Senate & Congress!

I think the only way the government is going to come up with a good health care plan is if the Senate and Congress are required to have the same plan. I do remember Obama promising we should have the same health care during the campaign.
One thing I would like to say. I think the perscription drug program under Medicare is wonderful. It has helpeed me so much. This came in under Bush and he gets no credit and I just read it is costing much less than they originally thought.

I sure wish we could go back to the late 70's when the government pushed the HMOs on us. In my opinion that was the start of the downfall of U.S. healthcare.

Healthcare reform would be easy if the idiots in DC would start at the bottom where most of the fraud is, before going to the top !! Welfare is a joke and medicaid is easily expandable to cover many of the people they want to insure !! If they took payments out of the welfare check to cover the cost of medicaid and add a deductible, like they do medicare there could be room to insure many more !! And if they got smaller welfare checks they just might have to go to work !! But I know Washington is against that !! I cannot see why the govt.will pay someone to not work and have child after child and reward them for doing it !! It doesn`t make sense !! Then the doctors that treat medicare patients are pro-rated down so far that they cannot break even !! So what happens,,, they raise prices to even get a small percentage of what they spend !! And insurance supplements should not be bound to whatever the primary care company approves !! I recently had my appendix out and of the total bill of $ 29,617.94 my primary insurance paid $ 2,911.47 and since the primary carrier didn`t approve charges the secondary carrier didn`t have to pay it either !! So the hospital and the doctors are left to charge off the rest !! That is why hospitals and doctors are always going up on their rates !! They have to make enough to keep the doors open !!

Mart,
I think the Health Insurance companies are just plain crooked. One idea you had about expanding Medicaid has already happened. In WV you can buy into Medicaid if your income isn't too high, this is for people who work. If you are disabled or elderly and your income is low enough the state medicaid program will pay for the Medicare deductible and co-pays. Also I believe there is a 5 year limit on welfare benefits no matter if there are kids and benefits for children is the only welfare benefits $ you can get. If you are able bodied and get food stamps you have to work a job to get them. I just share this in case there are those out there with Medicare out there who don't know about this.

I hope you are fighting that hospital bill with the insurance company. That is so wrong and yet so typical of the mess we are in. How in the world can your insurance company not approve an emergency surgery like that. It was the hospital's responsibility to get authorization before your surgery!! Somebody didn't do their job or is crooked.

One thing I forgot to say, Medicaid is not the same in every state. Some states are more generous than others. I think the Medicaid program is like 70% federal funding and 30% state. Poor states have a hard time even paying their 30% so they offer less services, like dental and vision for example.
