Well put I liked that.I got the same email also.I replied to him---sorry already sold horse,but if you are interested in any of my other horses.I only take money grams from your local walmart,I am sure that will be no problem for you.This way I do not have to be bother by SCAMMERS--you have a bless day!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received one from the same guy on my bugs alive, dash for cash colt. I told him that I except paypal and cash only, don't bother to send me anything else as I will not except it.

That person must be a very, very busy person. I got one from them also for one of my foals. Of course I knew they were a scammer right off the bat and responded that I only accept payment by "Western Union". Evidently, they do not understand English very well and sent another response. My second response was a little more vivid with bold letters. Troy, I like your approach and will try that next time. I have turn two over to FTC as led them on until I received the phony bank checks. I located them all over the US with the information they had sent me, of course, not knowing it any of it was factual. Very interesting. Another one I got they were using similar names and just responded with "Are you related to so and so. These as******* need to be dealt with severe actions. They are a waste of time. Unfortunately, there are some that fall for this.

This very busy person actually mentioned sending the " Money Order western uonion".....
 so they appear to have some sort of learning curve....kinda sorta.... on the advice I've read here I told them cash only and wouldn't ya know it no reply! Shocker I know!Volcav

Thank you guys for all this information. I too received the exact same letter from a jare.hayor3@yahoo.com. He said he was in California and wanted to buy my horse for his 13 yr old son's birthday. I asked him why would he want a horse in Georgia which he has never seen, didn't they have horses in California. He was going to send me a money order for $3500 to cover the cost of shipping the horse to him. I was only asking for $1200 for the horse. He said he was going to Holland for 6 months and his private Vet would come check out the horse and make sure she was sound for shipping. Since I just read this information on here I have sent him a email stating the horse had been sold and that my Uncle Richard the deputy sheriff said it would be fine since I had not yet received any money from him. Thanks again.

Boy They Change their names fast!!
Well I was also hit with an e-mail 1st one asked what kind of shape my horse was in etc.. and my bottom dollar.(which I did not reply on the price!)
2nd e-mail: Thanks for contacting us I agree on your set price and will send money order asap plus extra (you know the rest) His name James Williams829@gmail.com I responded: Thanks but we decided to go ahead and keep her for our Countys Mounted patrol officers because the Sheriffs liked her so well!! Imagine how hurt I was when I received no response!! The Rudeness of some people! :(

LOL !!! These scams have been going on forever !! Does anyone on this forum have a private vet ???? I am sure a few people in the world do but why would they buy a horse online ?? You would think that they could afford a higher quality than some they ask about !! I have seen similar scam emails on a $500. horse !! Basic rule of selling online " ask yourself if it makes sense " !! If it doesn`t,,, its a scam !!!! If you are not sure just email back and tell them,, cash sale only,, no shippers,, buyer must pick up his own horse !!
