Default My new project

This is John. He's our new project. 15.2HH, gelding, supposed QH, and extremely skiddish when we first got him. Now you can walk up and scratch all over him. We're really proud he's come along so quickly.

He's 4 or 5. Don't know for sure and he's been too scared to check his teeth. He was supposedly "started", but no rides. The people we bought him from only purchased him because he was a package deal with a couple of other mares. They didn't want him so we got him for next to nothing. They had him turned out in probably 100 acres in a huge herd with mares, a couple geldings, and a stud. Took an hour to catch him. Anyway, we're planning on breaking him and maybe selling him as a roping prospect. We'll see how he takes to cows when we get further along. He's already ready for his first ride!

He's a nice looking boy! I think the third pic is cute, the head shot. It looks like he's got one ear forward and one going back. Doesn't Parelli say that means something in particular in horse talk?
