As of right now I have no mini's, but I really want one. My neighbor breeds them and told me I better be getting a baby off of her this spring. I am still trying to talk hubby into it, I think I will have plenty of time till then since they are not even born yet and they will have to be weaned as well. I keep telling him our daughter will be having a blast with it, but he knows if he lets me get one I will have to bring it in the house, just because I can. Ha Ha HA

I know when I was growing up we brought the ponies and the foals in the house. But hubby just doesn't understand what the purpose is. He says we got enough animals in the house, and the horses got plenty of room outside.

I did have two mini geldings----both were silver dapple with cream manes and tails. I sold tham in order to get two standard-size horses we could ride, but I wish I could have kept them, too. Hubby didn't want the expense of that many horses, but in the future, I do plan to get minis again----he just doesn't know it yet!

my family used to have 3 minis. 1 grade mare, her filly and a Reg. Class A stud. we sold them about 1 1/2 years ago and got two weanlings, a QH/Haflinger, and a Paint. i do miss the minis but i don't have to worry about them getting out and running down to the neighbors anymore. lol
