AMHA isnt contacting me! help?

I just bought a miniature stallion about 7 months ago for a HUGE amount, his previous owner is making me nervous, she isnt giving me his performance record in AMHA and he has a hard knott on his knee and due to thick hair I havent noticed it till last April when I shaved him. He also hasnt been shown in 2 years (gonna be 3 this November) which makes me nervous.

I emailed AMHA but they wont email me back! I aint a member so I cant view any online stud book thiny, but I need to see his performance record cause previous owner aint letting me have it!

SO is there any way someone thats a member look it up for me? or anyway I can see it? It wouldnt only make my day but my week...

Why did you not insist on seeing his show record before you bought him?
Why not just become a member of the association,so you can get the information that you are wanting to get.
It has been seven months and the owner is not getting you the show record,if they had a show record---don't you think they would have had it when they was trying to sale the mini--it would have been a plus in their selling point.Sorry I think you have been lied to.

Normally you join the association when papers are transferred to new owner !! I am assuming you haven`t done this ?? Have you tried allbreed pedigree ?? I think there is a small charge for show/performance records but you can try them !! Not even sure if mini`s are in there !! Google his name and if there is anything on the web on him you can find it !! Like Mits said, all this should have been in your hands before you gave them payment for him !!
