Default Blue or Red heeler pups in Pa or reasonable shipping

Hi everyone I have been looking for a red or blue heeler pup for a while now and can't find one that is close to me or when I do find one they want way much more than I want to pay for one. I know I am being picky but I do want the tail docked, I just don't like my coffee being knocked off of the coffee table by wagging But anyways all of the pups around here that I have found still have there tails and the ones I found that are docked like I said are like triple the price of the ones around here. Anyone know anything or am I just being to picky?

If you lived here you could almost get one given to you. Sorry I'm no help there, and I don't think there is such a thing as reasonable shipping with dogs, at least not what I've seen. Good luck though!

Thanks for the reply I know around here they are cheap or free as well but they have tails and the other ones they want almost $600 to $700 with shipping and I don't know I think that is kind of high to pay for one when they do have them priced so cheap.

My last litter we sold for $125 with docked tails. They were all blue and sold fairly quickly. Not papered. I have no idea what the shipping would be from Arkansas to you, probably high.
Will have another litter next year, same female but a different male. My male died right after the last litter but I have a new better male now.

The pups have to be taken to the vet around 2days old to have the tails docked, I can't find any one around here that will take them any older and I don't even know if that is allowed?

That is a fair price but I am sure shipping would be high for that distance, but I would love to see pics of them when they are born.

so contact one of the people that have them now and see when they expect another litter and take the pup yourself.

I actually tried that and they did not like the idea of me taking the pup that young away from the mother while I took it to the vets they said it was to long of a time for it to be away from its mother, and I even offered to pay the cost and extra if they would take mother and pups in with that one to get its tail done but they said it is to much hassle that is why they don't do it in the first place.

vets dock tails on older dogs all the time when a dog gets its tail broken. What you have is a chicken sh-t vet that would only do it if the tail was broken and draging the ground. get on the bull horn and find a vet preferably on that is a large animal (cattle ) vet, and out in the country stay away from the city vets(most are PETA heads) I believe you can use a bander.
