Speaking of pictures --- where are your pictures from Arizona --- that had to be a neat ride. If I ever get the chance to go to Nevada --- you can believe I will have camera in hand.

I asked my grandpa about this who's an old farmer that's had his share of goats. He said that may work but he thinks every person he does it to would have to flip him for it to work. He also said theres a possibility he may think your playing & continue doing it, maybe even more.... Good luck though, hope it works for you! :)

My little Annie goat played this way with me and the dogs. She would not butt, she just pushed against your leg. She was only aggressive toward stray or other dogs.

My neighbor has goats and the largest weighs a almost 75lbs --- he use to try to butt people --- but Ron would grab his horns and throw him down and hold there for a few minutes. Once he would get up --- he would leave you allow --- at least for awhile. He has not tried butting in almost a year now --- after months of being thrown down to the ground --- but he is a goat and you never know --- he may start doing it again.

SOunds like he wants to be dominant. I agree with teh throwing down, in addition to that, I would sit on him for a few. This tells him " I AM BOSS!!!" If he wasnt banded right as a kid, he may still ahve to much testosterone in his system

I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND A GOOD DRY RUB AND ABOUT 2HRS IN A GOOD HICKORY OR MESQUITE SMOKER. A TUB OF DUTCH OVEN BAKED BEANS, CORN ON THE COB, AND PEACH OR BLACKBERRY COBBLER TO FINISH IT OFF. THIS IS A CURE ALL REMEDY AND I WOULD BE GLAD TO COME OUT AND SHOW YOU HOW TO DO IT THE FIRST TIME.

Caboy, I must say --- I have never thought about eating goat meat --- but why not --- it cannot be worse than anything else. If I ever get the chance --- I may just purchase one form the guy down the road and have him process it so I can try it. He sells meat goats that get shipped all over.

Must say --- the way you describe it --- sure was making me hungry.

haha, I would really like to see some video of this process, silver I hope you post it. Anyway, I noticed that flipping instructions are nowhere to be found in this thread, and from personal experience I can tell you that grabbing legs willy-nilly trying to flip a goat or lamb is REEEEEEEAALY funny to watch, but not very effective at all. Let us know how it works out, and if you would like a little walk-through, just let us know and I'll give you a few pointers. GOOD LUCK!!
