Default Getting our heifer today!

Well Earl went to get our cow today, she is 4 weeks old, speckled with a red face. I will post pics later. Her mom has the record of 48 inch wide horn span? IDK thats what the guy said. I have no clue about cows but I guess I'm about to learn...the girls want to ride, rope etc...

Hah, that's so fun
Is your new baby just a good ol' longhorn?
I've decided that my new project should be a miniature longhorn. They are so adorable!!! MrJake said that I could have one, but that was before my trainer showed up yesterday with the two new horses I traded her for the draft. Hehe, he was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO peeved!
Oh well, a few good home-cooked dinners and I'll be able to convince him, I'm sure.
I can't wait to see pics of the new girl!

Correction on the age of the heifer, she is 14 weeks old, not 4 weeks. I feel better about it now. She is so adorable! Alot cuter than I expected. Now to name her...

Smile So Cute

BuddysGirl she is so cute you need to put a poll up to name her that will give everybody something to do. I suggest DelMonica Ha Ha I figured since she is a girl we could change the name a little. Let us know what you decide on.

I like it! But I think the vote has been to name her Betsy. Betsy the cow...I like Belissima, maybe a middle name. Thanks ya'll. Here is her pic.

Well she has been officially named Belissima Besty of BanBar! We have been calling her BB the baby. Real neat animal, when you pet her neck underneath her head goes all the way down to the ground and her lips quiver. The neighbor has given me lots of advice and some of her left over stuff from when she had long horns. But I think she needs another cow so we are getting another one. I don't want any babies yet, so we're looking for another girl.
