Default Saddle thefts

I am in Missouri...near the Foxtrotters and Eminance Cross Country Trail Ride...and I talk to lots of people around the get-togathers about stolen
saddles....I made the Big Ox Locking Saddle Rack to help stop thefts and they
are doing a great job here in the ShowMe state....but I would like to hear about saddle thefts in other parts of the country....how bad is the problem?
Aren't most of the $200 saddles on craigslist and E-bay probably stolen
because the seller dosen't know what brand or size they are..just a picture.

Default thieves are everywhere!

I've been making locking devices since '93...and petty property thefts are at
an all time high....too many people out of work.....keep em locked up!
Especially at rodeo's, horse shows, and trail rides....an auxillary lock on your show trailer
tack room is an excellent idea. Thieves look around the show area and see your stable
name on your hat or shirt...call their partner on their cell phone...who break into your
tack room on the trailer knowing YOU are inside or on the bleachers. Everybody has their
name on their show trailer. A little protection can save a lot of heartbreak!

Default Big Ox will mount in show trailer tack rooms

When you asked about vehicles I assume you are refering to horse trailers...
the Big Ox is solid steel...it can be riveted, huck-bolted. or welded in metal
trailers. I can even punch 5/16 square holes for mounting holes if you want
to use stainless steel carriage bolts and break-away security nuts. Let me
know if this is what you are looking for. thanks for the interest Larry
* or *
if you are refering to outside door locks I used to make a big two piece auxillary door lock
(that is where the Big Ox name came from== auxillary or aux) that bolts on using 5/16
stainless bolts and special torx nuts which are safely inside the locked trailer...I still have
some of them....they are Hot Dipped Galvanized...use a big padlock...and I can sell you
one for 50.00 incl. shipping carriage bolts and special nuts included
