The ad on horse tack and rider doesn't have a picture so I figure from the discription that it is a plain kimberwick. The one in the other link of the california correction is the one like I would really like to have or the regular kimberwick correction if I can not get a california one. Either one of them should work for what I need to do with my pleasure horse.
I understand if you can't check with your guy today after last night with Razz.

Thanks, I have looked at english bits and bits, and bits and bits until I am sick of bits. Then when I find some I have to pull them up again and show hubby to see which one he thinks will work best. We found 3 different ones that will probably work, the Kimberwick Correction, the Kimberwick California Pleasure port and then we found another one tonight that would work, it is called a Segunda Snaffle. It is a regular D-ring with a port. The 2 Kimberwicks have slots in the rings for reins to go but we would have to use it with the reins snapped on the ring and not in one of the slots.
If he can get me one cheap enough with shipping to me, I can send you the money or I can paypal it to you.

Well, he's been striking out. The cheapest he can get it is $50, which is substantially less than retail, but still expensive. Sorry, I tried.

Thanks for trying Candice. I bought a segunda bit, but I don't think it is going to work on him. Guess I just have another bit for the collection.
We had a bad storm come through Thrusday night and had a tornado here. We have been without power until noon Sat. My computer got fried in the process. Luckly that is the only thing that I have found that the poweroutage got. We have lots of trees down around us. Got 2 of our fences with the trees but luckly all of our horses were at the ranch instead of at home.
I am having to use my sons labtop connected at the house and it is hard to get used to typing on it. I am going to bring my tower from the barn office and hook up at home and take the labtop to the office. I don't have internet at the office, just need something that I can make bill of sales, etc over there. Hopefully, my tower is fixable as it is full of data and pictures for the business and website.

Moody,
Right port, wrong bit. I have been looking for that type of port in a plain D-Ring bit. I think we ahave found one. A friend of ours had one that is a kimberwick with the right kind of port. It has rings inside of the D-ring to put the english reins. We are going to cut those rings out and make a plain D-ring out of it.
Thanks for looking for me.
