It is Stacys' video, that we are talking about. It takes my breath away,it is so good.
And I know there are other people out there, that can do this and make it look easy too.

I love that video --- and could never get tired of it. I really loved that she dedicated it to her father.

I love Stacy's video! Absolutely amazing! It takes an awesome horse, rider and trainer to put all that together.

if it is its nothing really special about it. Just basic leg, foot, body movement, weight shifting action and commands. I can barrel race my horse without a saddle and bridle. No offence to anyone, but its not really special. But still pretty cool.
The following taken directly from a dictionary, please note the bolded lines:

spe·cial (spshl)
adj.
1. Surpassing what is common or usual; exceptional: a special occasion; a special treat.
2.
a. Distinct among others of a kind: a special type of paint; a special medication for arthritis.
b. Primary: His special satisfaction comes from volunteer work.
3. Peculiar to a specific person or thing; particular: my own special chair; the special features of a computer.
4.
a. Having a limited or specific function, application, or scope: a special role in the mission.
b. Arranged for a particular occasion or purpose: a special visit from her daughter.
5. Regarded with particular affection and admiration: a special friend.
6. Additional; extra: a special holiday flight.
n.
1. Something arranged, issued, or appropriated to a particular service or occasion: rode to work on the commuter special.
2. A featured attraction, such as a reduced price: a special on salmon.
3. A single television production that features a specific work, a given topic, or a particular performer.

Sometimes it is truly "better to remain silent and ......" (well, I'm sure ya'll know the rest of the saying).

I've seen all levels of riders ride or attempt to ride bareback and bridleless. To call this performance 'nothing really special' seems (to me) to either show a lack of understanding of what it takes to get a horse/rider combo to this level or shows a certain amount of insecurity in one's own level of accomplishment combined possibly with a little immaturity.

If one is going to 'talk the talk' then one must be prepared to 'walk the walk' and be able to prove it. 8)

Please note that the posts that said it was nothing special are from kids! As we get older we appreciate things that take a special talent that not everyone can do. No offense to our young readers, but to say that that ride is nothing special, is just plain nuts!! :)
