I like the old saying," put up or shut up"
barrelracer11 ---has shut up,has not been back to comment anymore----which is good.
I bet she is busy making us a video of her running barrels---since she can do that, has good as Stacey.

I do not doubt that there are probably more people than you'd think that ride or have ridden 'au naturel' BUT the majority of them are not going to come close to the advanced horsemanship and responsiveness exhibited by the pair in the video.

I used to go way out in the woods in a 40acre lot and find my horse, crawl up on her and ride her back to the barn.... I was fine as long as she held down to a walk - but if she ever hit that trot, she just kept getting faster and faster lol! Several times we ended up making the corner of the corral at top speed. Ahhh.... to be young and invincible and dumb (reference an earlier post regarding gate/barn sourness) again!

We have a couple of horses now that I could do the very basic maneuvers on (at the walk - and in a small arena 8) ) but as for that pair in the video..... WOW!

One of the things that impressed me most was how relaxed the horse was for the most part. Did you happen to notice how often he was licking his lips? There were a few times the tail got twisty, but overall.....

In my opinion there is no way you can say that there is nothing special about this pair. I watched this over and over again. This is a real bond and a heck of alot of training and time togather.

Regardless of a saddle or bridle that was a good ride. Flat spins, good stop, nice lead changes, good circles. It doesn't matter what the horse or rider is wearing it was a good ride which would have out scored me even if I had a saddle and she did'nt.
