In bullfighting they kill the bull with a sword after they stick the bard sticks in them, is that the same with the mounted bullfighters?

They are allowed to run on open range like their supposed to. But when it comes time to do their job......... you best believe they are glad to and then go back to the tall grass for a few months. A $1500-$150,000 dollar horse or bull is NOT abused. They usually eat before the "abuser" does everyday, and in some cases no expense is spared to save their life. And did you know that Roping calves are in much better condition when they get to slaughter than those pampered feedlot, chemically enhanced cattle?

Simply riding a horse is totally unnatural for them and could be considered cruel. But so is feeding your dog or cat that bullshit in a bag from the grocery store. Domestic animals suffer from 10x as many illnesses as their wild counterparts. Wild horses don't commonly come down with strangles. And horses got along in the winter just fine until we started jacking with blankets, heated barns, etc. If peta wants to impress me with their concern for the horse problem, they can buy 100,000 acres somewhere to put all the sick, infirm, old, crippled, dangerous horses that are now being left to suffer. Then they can pay for their own feed and not have tax payers foot the bill. Let them trudge through the mud, snow and heat to doctor that man killing bronc that doesn't want to hear that Pat Parelli join up sermon.

I don't breed horses with inferior traits. If my stallion didn't have what was considered exceptional for the breed type, he wouldn't be on my place. And I don't breed him to just anything that arrives in a trailer. If the mare is not as good a specimen, she don't get any. He shouldn't have to help correct her faults. I don't breed all of my mares every year. That's responsible breeding. The mares all live and foal outside like their supposed to and nothing goes in a barn unless it is to be shown. The strong survive.
Oh don't get me wrong, I was being sarcastic, I do not agree with all the PETA BS. Thats just what it is, BS. I don't care if folks want to enjoy this kind of stuff or if they want to eat horse etc...I do agree with responsible breeding and how we have domesticated are "pets" to death. There is more cruelty in our domesticated animal world than in the wild for sure.

I can't stop watching this video!! TRUE POETRY IN MOTION... and the horse is so calm throughout all of it... I know if a fighting bull came toward most of my horses, you'd just see a dust cloud where they used to be standing. LOL. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this!

I agree sillythao! My horse I run would FREAK! Shes not into cows and shes not into things running towards her. Those are about the only things that bug her so that would probably be traumatizing to her! lol

The poles being used are barbed at the tip (somewhat like a harpoon)... THAT is why they stick in the bull's flesh. Yes there is blood. Yes they have been bred for aggressiveness. So have Pit Bulls.... do you agree with dog fighting?

The horse IS pretty spectacular and I have nothing but admiration for the training, responsiveness and athleticism being exhibited.

Default Plz Post Video

I would like to see a video link as the comp I am on will not allow me to open this feed from where you are posting it.

I saw that it was titled westfall and I would like to know if it is Stacy Westfall as I saw and rode with her in shows before she was big.

Also If it's a video of a rider and a horse ridding bareback / bridless I can do that with my mare at a walk trot and canter. It's not hard to teach them it just takes time and patience.

I would still like to watch it though.
