Hey Cinch!! Did you know that Hitler had the same ideas about forced birth control as YOU??? He believed that there were certain sections of sociaty that should not be aloud to reproduce too. Like disabled people or people he though were inferior, like jews. Where do you draw the line with forced sterilization & abortion?? It's a slippery slop!! Once we let the government say who can have kids and who can't, where will it stop?? They will say that only the upper class should be aloud the reproduce because they can afford it. Good way to breed out the undesireable, hmmm??

Yes, Chip them in an effort to be able to locate your child no matter where they may be.

What if they go missing or get stolen? With this chip you will find your child in moments. This will be some of the ways it will be sold to the public.

Then the babies grow up and do the same to their kids.

So-do you suppose I will have Options in my choice of drugs---medicine, in this Health care ran by the government? NO! The cheaper the better I am sure.

I'm putting in my opinion-thanks Tex!

Default OH SH#*, Nobel Piece Prize

Well, I am just so happy that the Prez felt he did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize, or the cool 'million plus' oh, that goes to charity.

BUT!!

Supposedly now he feels he has to accept this honor and 'live up to' it .... By shoving his agenda down our throats.

HE SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED! Sorry, forgot that ego maniacal people cannot have that feeling.

My voice is getting louder!

Mart-Have you been able to watch Glen Beck on Fox? He is voicing our opinions. He can be a little 'loopy' sometimes, but he is seeing what we are.

Who gets to vote on,who wins that award?I would love to know!!
I also would love to know who else was up to win this award---who did he beat out?
I would hate to know that they awarded me with with that award, and I had not done anything to deserve it.Sorry I could not accept that award,I would have to tell them to give it to someone that really does deserve it.And for some odd reason, if they could not find someone that they thought deserved it more than the leader of our country ----then just keep it in a vault til next year and see if they could give it to someone that really deserves the award.
What a shocker!!

Thumbs down

Due to the statutes of the Nobel Foundation, lists of nominations are held for 50 years, so the official list of the Nobel Peace Prize Nominees for 2009 will not be available until at least 2059.

In 2009 there were 205 names submitted for the Nobel Peace Prize; 33 of them were organizations. This was the highest number of nominations in the history of the prize.

A five member Nobel Committee, whose members are chosen by the Norwegian parliament, examines the nominations and creates a shortlist of 5-20 candidates. After further examination of the candidates by a group of academics who are the Nobel Institute's permanent advisers, the committee selects the final winner.

There have been some names leaked of the 2009 nominees however.

This included Colombia Senator Piedad Cordoba, Sima Samar, Chinese dissident Hu Jia, and Prime Minister of Zimbabwe Morgan Tsvangirai.

Other nominees are believed to be French President Nicholas Sarkozy, Ingrid Betancourt, the Cluster Munitions Coalition, Zivko Popovski-Cvetin, SOS-Kinderedorf International, Greg Mortenson, Thich Quang Do and Pete Seeger.

There is no official list however at this time.
