I don't know which one or if it's all doing it. I dont' see it happen. But I woke up this morning and my comforter was soaked. One of these damn dogs peed in my bed over night. How can I stop this when I don't even know which one is doing it, unless it's all of them. They must know better than to let me catch them at it. |

Are they fixed? Do they maybe have a bladder infection or kidney stones? Have there been any changes recently that they could be upset about? I would definately check the bladder infection and kidney stones. Mom's dog recently started peeing in the house, something she had never done, and she had kidney stones.

I only have 1 male dog in the house and he is not neutered. No new dogs and I can't think of anything that has changed. EXCEPT we did have a tornado last Friday. The male dog and a spayed female was in the barn with me when it hit. the spayed female got in bed with me last night and she's never wanted on the bed. even as a puppy she slept beside the bed but never wanted on it.
Tornado was a week ago, could it just now be bothering them? |

Did the tornado hit at night ?? That could be it !! Just a case of nerves !!! I would let them have more outside time and give them a little time !! But do show them the places on the bed and scold them a little just to let them know that its not OK to pee on the bed !! Females usually will pee on top of the bed and males will use the area around the bed like the legs and any covers that drape off !!

All I can come up with is to contact that dominatrics? English lady on animal planet.
She is very good with dogs. I think her first name is Victoria? Thats all I can say as I believe "Victoria" [if that is her name] feels she can boss dogs around and they believe her. Very Convincing.... Maybe they pay you to come solve your, 'Dog [s] with an inconveinant leak' problem on T.V. |

How old is the un neutered male? Male dogs when they hit around 7 months a little older for some will start marking. Even if they were perfectly housebroken before, they will start to pee on anything. I would recomend getting him fixed also tell the Dr when you take him in to get fixed what he is doing, they can collect a sterile sample of urine while he is there and check to see if he has bladder infection ( usually a second reason for peeing in the house) or stones. I would get him fixed as soon as possible, because if it is a medical problem if left un treated the peeing will then become a learned behavior and almost impossible to break. I worked as a vet tech for 15 years and this is what i learned from experiance. Good luck. I am dealing with a new dog now that was 1 year old when we got him. I got him fixed within 2 weeks of getting him and it is tough, he can be outside with me for several hours, he will then come in and if i am not keeping a close eye on him he will start peeing on corners. And he knows he is bad all i have to do is point at the puddle and he acts all ashamed. He knows he has done bad, its like he just cant help himself! If i leave him in his crate when i am not right there with him he can hold it for hours. So we do crate him at night and while i am at work. We make his crate very comfy with chew toys and bones, he will even go lay in his crate when we are home. Also what kind of dog is it? Small dogs are very hard to housebreak. Mine is a Italian Greyhound, he will be my challenge

Oh I love those kind of greyhounds! My sister adopted a retired race dog once and she was a running fool! Ran out in front of a car poor thing. I kennel my little dog if he is going to be without another dog for too long, he will try to dig his way out if left alone.
As for the peeing problem, I agree with the others advice. Good luck, hope it's just maturity and not infection or stones.
